Pledge to Donate to the People in China Suffering the Deadliest Earthquake
5月12日北京时间14时，在四川汶川县发生了7.9级的大地震，和"唐山大地震"震级相当，震感波及宁夏、甘肃、青海、陕西、山西、山东、河南、湖北、湖南、重庆、贵州、云南、西藏、江苏等地区，目前已造成万余人死亡，相关财产损失难以计数。
祖国的灾情牵动着海外游子的心，虽然我们不能亲自赶到灾区现场救援，也不能给灾区的伤员献上一滴血，但血肉相依，感同身受，这场灾难同样重创了我们的心，我们愿意力所能及为灾区贡献我们的一份力量，让更多的人能尽快从这场灾难中恢复过来。救灾如救火，下面是我们能搜集到的可以捐款的途径，大家可以个人捐款，也可以通过各种组织以集体的形式进行捐款。
Everyone
in the world was saddened by the huge aftermath and death toll of the
devastating China Earthquake, magnitude 7.9, that hit SiChuan Province on
5/12/2008. Rescuers dug
through schools and homes turned into rubble by China's worst earthquake in
three decades to reach victims trapped beneath slabs of concrete, as the death
toll from the disaster rose Tuesday to nearly 12,000 (number is increasing) and
thousands remained missing.
"I couldn't close my eyes the whole night. I am dying to know if she is hurt, or rather, is she still alive at all?" said Li.
Li is one of many who couldn't sleep on Monday night. His mother has been out of touch for more than 24 hours.
